November 25 and 26 marked the largest online event of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in China, the virtual DAAD Info Days. The two-day event attracted over 300 prospective students and their parents. On behalf of TUM, TUM Beijing liaison officer Zhenshan Jin was on site as contact person.

Due to the renewed outbreak of the corona epidemic in China, many of face-to-face events were canceled. But despite the challenges posed by the current situation, communication with prospective students continues via various online platforms.

In virtual form, the DAAD Info Days offered the opportunity again this year to learn more about study and research opportunities in Germany or at various German universities. Attendees were primarily interested in the latest information on the impact of the pandemic on studies, teaching and examinations, as well as the new language requirements for applying for a place at TUM.

With 248 participants, the presentation by TUM Beijing liaison officer Zhenshan Jin attracted particularly great attention. If you have any questions about the exchange between TUM and China, you can contact our liaison office in Beijing at any time.
