Through the EuroTeQ University Alliance, TUM lecturers can offer their courses to students of EuroTeQ partners in an innovative format in the EuroTeQ Course Catalogue. Courses can be submitted at the beginning of each semester.
Information event
The Senior Vice President Prof. Dr. Gerhard Müller will provide information on the topic of course submission for the EuroTeQ Course Catalog in a Zoom info event on Wednesday, October 2, 2:30 - 3:30 pm. All questions regarding course submission, the Winter School 2025 in Tallinn and the EuroTeQ Day will be answered. Register here.
How it works
- Obtain general approval from your chair
- Contact the EuroTeQ office for course submission
Teaching formats
- Online
Every student can attend the course online. - Hybrid
Students from host university – in this case TUM students – are required to attend on campus, while students from partner universities can join virtually. - Blended
It is required that students undertake a mobility activity to participate in a part of the course for a certain period of time (e.g. internship, lab work, exam at TUM). Teachers could also collaborate with partner universities from the EuroTeQ alliance to design Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs).
Please provide the following details via E-mail to our EuroTeQ team if you wish to open your courses to our EuroTeQ students:
- Course title
- Module number
- Teaching format
- Exam format
You can currently submit courses for the summer semester 2025. The deadline is October 6, 2024. There will also be an online info session at the beginning of October. More details will be published here on this website.
Winter semester
For courses running in the winter semester, applications must be submitted until early May of the same calendar year. For instance, if a course starts in October 2024 at TUM, it should be submitted to the EuroTeQ office before May 2, 2024.

EuroTeQ Alliance
The EuroTeQ Engineering University emerged from the EuroTech Universities Alliance. The unique project combines the strengths of the partners for a joint European engineering education.
Course Catalogue
The EuroTeQ Course Catalogue offers students the opportunity to take part in partner courses. TUM students thus can participate in courses at L'X, DTU, EPFL, TU/e, Technion, TalTech, and CTU.
Collider
At the EuroTeQ Collider, students and trainees as well as stakeholders from society and industry come together to develop approaches to solving current problems.
At the moment, our EuroTeQ Course Catalogue is open to all course suggestions, whether they’re already built for TUM students or need to be built completely from scratch.
Here are several possibilities:
- Online and hybrid courses
- Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs)
- Prerequisite courses for TUM Master’s study programs
- Prerequisite courses for the EuroTeQ Collider
Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs = Teaching formats that consist of an online part and a physical mobility): Please find all details here on this website. Our colleague Sarah Debons is available to answer any questions you may have..
Our EuroTeQ Course Catalogue is synchronized with TUMOnline. In order to extract data from TUMOnline, several modifications are needed to offer course applicants a better overview of course itself.
Must-haves:
- The module description of the course (LV) must be completed, as only the information from the module description is exported to the course catalog.
- In addition, the editing of the course description should be completed before the start of the application phase and the course should also be approved. Only approved courses may be exported and published in the EuroTeQ Course Catalogue.
Nice-to-have:
You can also enter all good-to-know information for participants (e.g. when the exam takes place) in the “Notes” field under the course in the English version and this will also be transferred to the EuroTeQ Course Catalogue.
More information about Digital exam formats are shared by our partner ProLehre and we are happy to assist you in finding the right person to make it happen.
- If the course is intended for TUM students (also in the elective area), it can be credited. It is irrelevant how many TUM students are enrolled in the course.
- If the course is not part of the curriculum or only for external persons, the Dean of the School decides whether the course can be counted towards the teaching obligation.
