Blended Intensive Programmes are short group stays at European partner universities that combine face-to-face and online learning phases. Each BIP is a collaborative project between at least three universities in the Erasmus+ network. They thus offer students and teachers innovative learning formats and the opportunity to expand their international network.
BIP stays for TUM students
If approved by the TUM Global & Alumni Office, your stay can be supported by an Erasmus+ scholarship. A BIP consists of a face-to-face learning phase and a virtual learning phase. Participation in both phases is mandatory!
Funding
- The on-site period abroad is financially supported.
- Students with fewer opportunities receive additional financial support.
- Students who travel to their host university and back in an environment-friendly way receive a grant.
- For details on funding, please visit the DAAD website and look under the menu item Förderraten für blended short-term mobilities.
How it works
- You can obtain the individual BIP offers via your respective School, which is also responsible for the application process. In addition, the ATHENS and EuroTeQ course catalogues provide several BIP courses. In these cases, you must apply via the relevant platforms.
- Nominated students will be contacted by the TUM Global & Alumni Office and informed about the next steps. Some documents must be submitted before the stay, others after.
