Study at TUM through EuroTeQ

TUM offers a variety of online courses in English that you can participate in as a student from CTU, DTU, EPFL, L'X, TalTech, Technion and TU/e. After successful participation you will receive an official certificate. Find out what you need to do to apply for a virtual course at TUM. 

Requirements for participation

If you are studying at one of our EuroTeQ partner universities or at TUM, you can use the course catalogue on the EuroTeQ website to select and apply for courses at TUM.

Application procedure for students of our EuroTeQ partners

Step 1: Inform yourself at your home university

Please first contact the EuroTeQ coordinator or the International Office at your home university to find out about specific requirements at your institution. Feel free to ask directly whether and how EuroTeQ courses can be recognized after you complete a course.

Step 2: Apply at the EuroTeQ Course Catalogue Website

Go to the EuroTeQ Course Catalogue website. Select the university at which you are studying. You will then see which courses are available for registration. From this point, the process is as follows:

  1. Carefully read the course description, including all prerequisites and participation requirements.
  2. Click the “Apply Now” button.
  3. Log in using the credentials of your home university and consent to the transfer of your data.
  4. You will receive a notification confirming that your data has been transferred successfully. Within a few days at the latest, you will receive final confirmation that you have been registered for the course.
  5. Before the start of the semester, you will receive an email containing your access credentials for TUMonline, TUM’s campus management system. Detailed information on how to use TUMonline will be provided during the welcome session at the beginning of the semester.
  6. Follow the additional instructions you receive by email, including information on how to access the course materials.

Please note: TUM students are considered outgoing students in the context of the joint EuroTeQ course offering and therefore please proceed as described here.

Recognition

The EuroTeQ partners are striving to ensure mutual recognition of the credits that have been gained towards as many study programs as possible.

If you are taking one of the EuroTeQ courses offered by TUM, you will receive an official certificate, stating the content of the course, its workload, the grade, and the number of ECTS credits obtained.
