Worldwide locations – TUM Global Network

Through the TUM Global Network, TUM is strongly represented in strategically important centers in Europe, Asia, North and South America. The network supports the TUM community as a valuable partner in international projects and activities, provides information on regional trends and developments, and acts as a central gateway to important local players from research, education, industry, and society.

TUM Beijing

TUM Beijing plays a central role in establishing and expanding university and research collaborations in China. The office was instrumental in setting up the flagship partnership with Tsinghua University.

TUM Brussels

TUM Brussels is TUM's first point of contact for cooperation requests with European partner universities and coordinates EuroTech activities and represents TUM's interests within the EU.

TUM Mumbai

TUM Mumbai is strongly involved in the activities of German and Bavarian representations in India and provides TUM researchers with access to one of the largest research and education markets in the world.

TUM San Francisco

TUM San Francisco is an invaluable hub for linking TUM's entrepreneurship activities with the Silicon Valley and fostering cooperation with top institutions throughout the U.S. and Canada.

TUM São Paulo

With a focus on Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico, TUM São Paulo accompanies TUM's collaborations across the continent and recruits talented early career researchers.

TUM Campus Singapore

Over the past 20 years, TUM has established its successful international location in the Southeast Asian metropolis of Singapore: the TUM Campus Singapore. What began in 2002 with offering study programs at TUM Asia has also been enriched with scientific projects at our research platform TUMCREATE since 2011.

“German engineering with Asian relevance” is our motto, as evidenced by the more than 3,000 alumni of TUM Asia to date and the numerous research successes of TUMCREATE.

The TUM Campus Singapore works closely with leading universities, research institutions, and companies in the region and prepares students and doctoral candidates optimally for a career in business and research.
