Welcome to EuroTeQ Day 2026 – a day all about innovation, creativity, and collaboration. This year’s highlight is the Egg Drop Competition, where students put their engineering skills, ingenuity, and teamwork to the test: Which creative design can protect a raw egg from a drop of several meters the best? Join us and take the chance to share your ideas, connect with peers, and experience the EuroTeQ spirit firsthand!

Collaborate, create, win

The Egg Drop Competition is more than just a contest. In teams of three, students use the provided materials to build protective constructions that can protect a raw egg from a drop of several meters. They apply their communication skills, physics knowledge and materials expertise to solve problems creatively under time pressure. Teamwork, ingenuity and technical ability lie at the heart of the challenge. The competition is open to students from all disciplines.
Tallinn calling
The winning team earns a trip to Tallinn to attend the Student Summer Games in Estonia in June — a signature event combining athletic competition, collaborative challenges, and networking with leading innovators from the Baltic region and the EuroTeQ Ecosystem. TUM will cover the registration fees, participation fees, and travel expenses (flights and accommodation) for the Student Summer Games.
