The Study Abroad Fair attracted over 40 top universities from around the world, including the University of Oxford, Waseda University, and the National University of Singapore.
In her presentation, Zhenshan Jin highlighted TUM as an innovative, top-tier university, emphasizing its wide range of study programs and exceptional research resources. She stressed the importance of international exchange programs and the strong support TUM offers to international students.
“TUM provides students with a unique opportunity to thrive in a research-driven environment and to build international networks,” Jin explained.
TUM students advise fellow Chinese students
The TUM booth drew significant attention, in part due to the presence of three TUM students currently studying at SJTU through an exchange program.

They provided interested Chinese students with firsthand insights into studying and living in Munich, answering questions about applications, academics, and cultural exchange.
Long-standing partnership between TUM and SJTU
Since 1995, TUM and SJTU have been connected through a strong institutional partnership. Within this framework, the two universities actively promote student and researcher mobility, maintain continuous research collaborations, and facilitate regular exchanges at the leadership level.
