It's getting warm again, we want to get out more – and May, appropriately enough, has plenty of leisure activities for that: For example, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the yard sales in Munich's diverse neighborhoods, savor vegan as well as meaty delights at the Munich Urban Night Market, or visit the Freisinger Garden Days. If you want to stay indoors, you can travel to the stars with our Welcome Services team at the ESO Supernova Planetarium. Plus, there are once again plenty of concerts and theater in and around Munich. This time, our Cultural Bites section brings you closer to the local weather and climate, including of course the Föhn. You should definitely know about this phenomenon – at least if you live in the south of Bavaria. Have fun!
When it's Föhn, you can practically touch the mountains from Munich: This time, our Cultural Bites column gives you an understanding of the local weather and climate. Photo: Fotolia
The newsletter for international scientists at TUM provides monthly information about Welcome Services events as well as interesting events in Munich and the surrounding area for you and your families.
