In August, things are a bit quieter due to the vacations – but you are nevertheless offered a number of highlights for your free time: Our Cultural Program invites you and your families to take a beer garden tour across Munich, and the European Championships, the biggest sporting event since the '72 Summer Olympics, will take place. In memory of the Olympics, you can visit an art exhibition in the Rathausgalerie. Our Cultural Bites section takes a look at the Germans' favorite vacation destinations – and the most beautiful clichés about our tourist behavior abroad. We wish you a wonderful summer!
