For the first time ever, Brussels, home to numerous EU institutions, was the destination for a TUMi excursion in June 2018. The program included visits to the European Commission and the European Parliament. Students were able to experience Europe up close and deepen their knowledge about the European Union during discussions and lectures. The program was rounded off with a tour of the other sights of Europe's capital including the famous Atomium.
The trip to Brussels was only one event in TUMi’s diverse semester program as a glance into the TUMi calendar reveals. The events are open to all students of TUM, not just the internationals.
