TUM Global Week 2021 – International opportunities and insights

Global South, TUM Global, News | 02.06.2021

After more than a year of the Covid-19 pandemic and alleged reduction of international exchange, the redesigned, virtual TUM Global Week 2021 from July 5 to 9, 2021, puts a strong emphasis on TUM's internationalization. More extensive than ever, the week highlights international activities and opportunities at TUM and offers the entire TUM family, as well as international partners, a platform for an engaging and vivid exchange on the topic of internationalization.

The TUM Global Week offers a variety of information and networking events for all target groups, from students to doctoral candidates and scientists to administrative staff, TUM alumni and international partners.

You can look forward to information on exchange and funding opportunities, intercultural communication, research trends, and mentoring programs, as well as insights into TUM's offerings for international students and the developments of our flagship partnerships with Imperial College London and Tsinghua University. Furthermore, there will be presentations of the strategic alliances EuroTech and the EuroTeQ Engineering University as well as our closing panel discussion Making a global impact on opportunities and challenges in sustainability projects.

TUM Global Network: Excellently informed by our experts on site

As regional experts, our colleagues from the TUM liaison offices in Beijing, Brussels, Mumbai, San Francisco, and São Paulo, as well as from TUM Asia, will provide information on current projects and opportunities in the fields of sustainability and global health, among others. They will also answer TUM students' questions about studying abroad in region-specific Q&A sessions.

With a diverse mix of information sessions, workshops, round tables, a mini summer school and panel discussions, this year's all-virtual TUM Global Week offers an entertaining and interactive look at TUM's ever-advancing internationalization. The TUM Global & Alumni Office team and the representatives of this year' s affiliated units are looking forward to welcoming you at the TUM Global Week 2021.

For details on the event program, please visit our TUM Global Week website.
