TUM Brussels: European Talent Academy 2023 – Call for applications now open

Global South, TUM Global, News, TUM Brussels | 09.12.2022

The European Talent Academy (ETA) is going into another round and will focus on the theme of life-long health in 2023. The cohort of the third ETA class will again include up to 20 excellent researchers. Applications for the fellowships are open from now until the end of January.

Launched in 2021, the ETA is a joint initiative of TUM and its partners Imperial College London and Politecnico di Milano. It supports young research talents in their targeted development and in building a network with the colleagues of the partners. More than 40 young talents have already benefited from the program. The ETA pursues the following three concrete goals:

  • Connecting like-minded colleagues – growing even stronger together
  • Upskilling a group of young talents: the programme will offer different modules and sessions in the area of research and personal skills to further train early-career researchers
  • Raising awareness of research policy and available funding opportunitie

Under the scientific topic Striving for life-long health in Europe: Strategies and technologies for a healthier society, the 2023 edition of the European Talent Academy will bring together five to seven fellows per partner for further training.

You would like to apply for a TUM Fellowship in the 2023 cohort?
Find out more by reading the Call for Applications and apply directly via the online form. The application deadline is January 31, 2023.

Some first key dates for the ETA 2023 program
The 2023 Academy program will kick off in Milan, March 29-31, and conclude with a closing workshop in Brussels, October 19-21.

Between the two dates, fellows will be offered various online modules in the areas of research and soft skills, and individual research visits to other fellows are planned. We look forward to receiving your application.

For more details, please read the Call for Applications or contact Maria-Valerie Schegk.
