TUM and IIT Kharagpur establish joint Indo-German collaborative research center for intelligent transportation systems

During a meeting in Munich in mid-June, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur agreed to establish a joint Indo-German collaborative research center for intelligent transportation systems.

The center will initially be located at IIT Kharagpur, with a possibility of setting up a counterpart in Germany later.
The scientific focus will be on proposing innovative solutions for integrating multimodal transportation options and to develop India-specific automotive technologies.
