New Erasmus record at TUM – Info events during Global Week
TUM Global, News |

With around 350 partner universities from 32 different European countries, the Erasmus+ program at TUM is a great opportunity to go abroad for one or even two semesters.
Financial support – especially the promotion of equal opportunities – and the recognition of study achievements abroad are decisive aspects that speak to participation in the Erasmus+ program. But they are not the only ones: Students enrich their CVs, thereby increasing their career opportunities, and can also enormously strengthen their social skills by learning about new cultures, broadening their horizons, and improving their language skills.
Erasmus+: Discovering Europe and yourself
Erasmus+ is more than just a stay abroad; it is a life experience that stays with you forever. Sophia Reichenbach from the TUM School of Management was at ESADE Business School in the winter semester of 2023 and recommends that all fellow students take this step, too:
"My semester abroad in Barcelona was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. It allowed me to grow personally, gain many new memories and experiences, and make friends with people from all over the world. I would recommend it one hundred percent!"
Philipp Peron from the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology also loved his experience abroad. He chose NTNU in Norway and particularly appreciated the flexible choice of courses and modern facilities there. The most important thing for him, however, is the experience itself:
"My semester abroad in Trondheim was one of the best times of my life! Norway and NTNU offer endless possibilities. Norway's breathtaking nature, in particular, is simply incredible, and anyone who enjoys being outdoors will never want to leave. If you are passionate about sport and nature, you should do a semester abroad at NTNU!"

Information opportunity: Have your own Erasmus experience!
