The first summer concert of the student initiative ESN TUMi e.V. clearly showed that TUM students not only have excellent technical skills, but are also highly talented in the field of fine arts. At the beginning of July, a concert event took place at the Gasteig that could not have been more colorful in terms of musical genres and regional origins. If you missed it, you can take a look for yourself on YouTube - and maybe even be involved in the next event: TUMi is currently looking for new tutors for the upcoming winter semester.
Perfect location for the premiere of the summer concert: Munich's Gasteig.
Kai Kronewiter and Ennada Sahraoui sang the Duetto Buffo di Due Gatti by Gioachino Rossini. Alejandro Matea Liria accompanied them on the piano.

Successful premiere: At the end of the concert, all musicians and the event team received a big round of applause.
ESN TUMi became a registered association in 2020 and is historically closely linked to the TUM Global & Alumni Office. The primary goal of TUMi is to make experiences abroad and intercultural interaction as positive as possible. That is why TUMi offers all events to international students who spend their study abroad with us as well as to local students who would like to broaden their horizons.

One such event was the first TUMi concert on July 3: In the Small Concert Hall of Munich's Gasteig, more than 30 international TUM students showed just how musically talented they are. The spectrum of musical diversity was enormously broad: from classical to jazz and pop to traditional Chinese music, everything was covered. No matter whether you were a fan of Beethoven or Harry Styles - each and everyone got their money's worth. Both the organizers and the audience were delighted with the premiere. Good news: If you missed the concert, you can watch the recording on YouTube at any time. And the second piece of good news: planning for the TUMi winter concert has already begun.
Anyone who would like to participate here or get involved with ESN TUMi in general can currently apply to become a TUMi tutor and thus also organize events themselves. Applications are open until August 31.
