The ETA is a collaborative initiative by the three partner universities. The program is designed to support early-career researchers in working across disciplines, building international networks, and developing solutions to global challenges. This year’s theme, “Water and Food for Healthy and Resilient Societies,” provides the framework for the participants' research work.
From London to Milan: What’s next for the European Talent Academy 2025
Following the successful kick-off, participants will continue working on their research ideas in interdisciplinary teams. They’ll be supported by experienced researchers from the three institutions, as well as an external consultant who will help refine their concepts. In the coming weeks, an online session on funding opportunities is scheduled—an important step in preparing for the next project phase. The cohort will reconvene in Milan this June for a workshop focused on developing and finalizing their proposals.
The participants’ enthusiasm and strong team spirit made the London kick-off a great success. The next phase will focus on expanding ideas, learning from one another, and collaboratively developing projects that contribute meaningfully to today’s most pressing challenges.
