Research and teaching stays at TUM

TUM offers various funding opportunities for fixed-term research and teaching stays for international researchers. International scientists enrich TUM’s vibrant research culture with innovative approaches and expertise in cutting-edge research fields and further internationalize its curricula. Our Welcome Services team will help you integrate smoothly at TUM.

Teaching stays at TUM for lecturers from European universities

Through the funding program Erasmus+, lecturers from our European partner universities have the chance to teach at TUM for the limited period of two days to two months. Learn more about the program here.

Teaching stays at TUM for lecturers from worldwide partners

The Erasmus+ International Dimension offers lecturers and scientists of our partner universities all over the world the opportunity to teach at TUM for up to two months. Find out about the requirements here.

TUM Talent Factory

The TUM Talent Factory services are aimed at all young scientists at TUM as well as international postdocs who want to realize a research project at TUM. The Talent Factory organizes the Research Opportunities Week and manages the TUM Global Postdoc Fellowship. Details can be found on the TUM ForTe website.
