Beihang University has been a TUM partner since 2007. Since January 2018, TUM Beijing has been affiliated with Beihang and is located on its campus. Starting in the 2019/20 winter semester, TUM and Beihang will accept up to five doctoral exchange candidates from the other university each academic year. The new exchange program is open to doctoral candidates from all disciplines of both universities.

Exchange candidates will be supervised by a capable faculty member of the host institution and, for the exchange period, will have access to the library, laboratories, and other resources open to regular doctoral candidates at the host institution. These candidates can also apply for scholarships and grants from their home institution. The application deadline for 2019/20 is May 15, 2019. Please find further information on the website of the TUM Graduate School, which administers the program at TUM.
