Short biography of Enrique Lin Shiao
Born and raised in San José, Costa Rica, as the son of Taiwanese immigrants, Enrique Lin Shiao started his research career in Munich: In 2011 he graduated with a bachelor's degree, and in 2013 Lin Shiao completed his studies at TUM with a master's degree in biophysics. After completing his PhD in Biochemistry and Biomolecular Physics at the University of Pennsylvania, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Innovative Genomics Institute at UC Berkeley, where he used CRISPR technology to conduct cutting-edge DNA research. Today, Enrique Lin Shiao works as an Associate in Asset Acquisition at BridgeBio in Berkeley, California.
