In 2019, DAAD will organize more than 60 marketing events in China, which are great platforms to promote TUM study programs among Chinese high school graduates and students. TUM Beijing intends to participate in 16 DAAD events, including those to be held at select elite universities such as Fudan University, the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), and Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT); BIT has been a long-standing partner of TUM. Moreover, the liaison office will try to reach an audience in Chinese provinces, which have not yet been in focus of TUM Beijing’s marketing and recruiting activities in previous years.
In 2019, TUM Beijing will also concentrate on addressing qualified students at PASCH Schools and at those international schools that have close ties to Germany. The PASCH project was launched in 2008 by the Federal Foreign Office and is linked to a range of other initiatives under the umbrella of cultural diplomacy. It aims at raising sustainable interest and enthusiasm among young people for Germany and the German language.
Members of TUM interested in the recruiting activities of TUM Beijing are invited to contact liaison officer Zhenshan Jin at any time.
