How can plastic waste in the EU be significantly reduced? What measures make sense to effectively limit plastic production in the EU? What options for action does the EU Green Deal offer? These and other questions on the implementation of EU environmental policy are addressed in the Zero Waste simulation game.
In addition to gaining in-depth insights into EU environmental policy, you can learn more about the political foundations of the European Union and the European legislative process. For one day, you will slip into the roles of political actors and can act as the European Parliament, the EU Commission, the EU Council of Ministers or the Economic and Social Committee. The simulation is not only intended to contribute to a cleaner environment, but also to show that acting at the EU level can actually be fun.
The workshop is led by a team from the Center for Applied Policy Research (CAP) experienced in the simulation method. Working languages are German and/or English.
