EuroTech Rising Stars Award 2026: Applications open

The EuroTech Universities Alliance is looking for the next generation of research talent. The EuroTech Rising Stars Award 2026 honors outstanding early-career researchers whose excellent research and innovative ideas are helping address future challenges. The award recognizes researchers whose work has the potential to create scientific, technological, societal, or economic impact.

Recognition for research and innovation

The award is presented in two categories: Rising Research Stars for researchers with outstanding scientific achievements and an excellent academic track record, and Rising Innovation Stars for researchers who successfully translate their research into innovations with societal or economic relevance.

An international stage for emerging researchers

In addition to a cash prize, the award offers recipients the opportunity to present their research to an international audience. Winners will showcase their work at the EuroTech Summit 2026 in Brussels and benefit from increased visibility and networking opportunities across the EuroTech Universities Alliance.

The competition is aimed at promising early-career researchers from EuroTech partner universities who are setting new standards in research and innovation and actively contributing to international collaboration within the Alliance.

The application deadline is September 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CEST. Applications must be submitted in English.
