International study programs

 

As TUM is in a dynamic process of internationalisation, it offers several study programs in English. These courses are on the one hand designed to attract foreign students. On the other hand they aim at Germans interested in studying with an international dimension. At TUM you have the possibility to choose between full international Bachelor's, Master's and PhD courses and short-term programs, especially the summer and winter universities. International study programs

Courses in English

At the moment, there are more than 30 English-speaking Master’s degrees and PhD programme at TUM. Proof of German language proficiency is not required. You can get the complete list and further information here

Courses in English and German

Besides, there are about 23 Master’s degree and 6 Bachelor’s degree courses of studies where a part of the courses are conducted in English (dependent on the professor or lecturer). Proof of both German and English language proficiencies are necessary in some of these courses of studies. You can get the complete list and further information here

Double degree program

9 TUM faculties offer a range of double degree programs. These programs offer qualified students the possibility to obtain both the German Master's and its corresponding foreign degree. The departments are in charge of the conseling and the application procedure. More information here

Summer-/Winter-Universities

Summer/Winter-Universities at TUM

TUM offers summer programmes for different target groups in various fields of study in Germany and abroad. The topics vary from computer sciences to civil engineering, life and food sciences, nanotechnology and medicine etc. To participate, you do not have to be enrolled as a student. Some summer schools offer summer schools for employees with working experience or PhD students.
