Networks

As a member of international networks, TUM uses highest international standards as its scientific, structural and organizational benchmarks. These include academic associations such as EAIE, EUA, CESAER, TU9 and the strategic universities alliances GlobalTech and EuroTech. TUM is also a member of various international networks focusing on student mobility and offering joint study programs such as T.I.M.E., ATHENS or Magalhães Network.

ATHENS a network of 24 leading European Universities offering intensive short courses in Science and Engineering to their students.
CESAER a non-profit association of 60 leading European Engineering Universities, Colleges and Schools with the main objective of improving links between its members in research as well as in postgraduate education.

EUA An association representing European higher education institutions in 47 countries, providing them with a forum to cooperate and keep abreast of the latest trends in higher education and research policies.
