No single university or country can master today’s scientific challenges on its own. TUM works closely with its partner universities around the world and participates actively in international networks. With its engagement in strategic alliances, TUM takes academic collaboration to the next level. Thus, TUM together with its prestigious partners of the European EuroTech Alliance and the worldwide GlobalTech Alliance develops joint research strategies adressing the megatrends of tomorrow.

In Asia, the university has established a permanent presence through its overseas campus TUM Asia in Singapore, and maintains direct dialog with top universities and businesses on the CREATE campus in Singapore. TUM ForTe serves as the contact point for this and other international project and coordinates the activities.
