The International Center

Being a global learning and innovation hub, Technical University of Munich engages participants from all over the world in a dynamic conversation. The International Center coordinates exchange programs for students, staff, and scientists of TUM, and welcomes international students and researchers to Munich and all our campuses.

In addition to coordinating the exchange of students, staff, and researchers, the International Center focuses on extending TUM's network of global partners. In effort to connect TUM to the world, the university operates foreign offices on five continents. Our locations in Beijing, Brussels, Cairo, Mumbai, San Francisco, and São Paulo keep us engaged with our growing network of international partners and alumni.

True to the spirit of an entrepreneurial university, TUM opened the first ever German campus abroad in 2002. TUM Asia has grown into a vibrant learning community, offering Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in conjunction with our partner universities in Singapore.

Technology and science are relevant in all corners of the world – especially in developing communities. Through projects like TUM without Borders TUM students and scientists commit to finding sustainable solutions for people around the world.
